Batiksoul Guitar is a distinguished handmade guitar of high-quality, handcrafted guitars that blend traditional Indonesian artistry with modern musical craftsmanship. Established in 2014 by Guruh Sabdo Nugroho ( Guge Nugroho) and based in the cultural heart of Central Java, Sukoharjo – Indonesia , we are dedicated to producing unique and exquisite instruments that resonate with the rich heritage of Indonesian batik. for nearly 2 years ( 2012-2014) Guruh and his batik artisan make some trials how to applicated natural dyed batik to solidwood soundboard such as solid spruce, rosewood, mahogany, maple, and figured mango. This trials was carried out to determine the effect of the batik process on the sound quality and resonance of solid wood instruments.

Material Selection: Using the finest woods and materials to ensure superior sound quality and durability. Most of the wood material comes from Indonesia exotic woodssuch as Java Flamed Mango, Mahogany from South of Java, Sonokeling, East Indian Rosewood, Trembesi / Indonesian Monkeypood,
Batik Art Integration: Incorporating traditional batik designs, meticulously hand-painted onto each guitar, making every piece a unique work of art.
